Annyeong! It's been 3 years since I last updated my blog. Where have I been?! Well I guess I just lost interest in blogging but now I'm back. #ComebackisReal and I hope it's for good.
Well a lot has happened in the past years. I went to Manila last 2015 for I underwent a training for Ms World Ph. And then I finally decided to stay here because of modeling work.
So what made me decide to go back to writing? Hmm, I guess because I am in Manila and there has been a lot of places I've been going to, new products I've been trying out. And sayang naman that I don't get to share it to you, guys.
By the way, in the coming days, I will be reviewing some Korean products I got during my recent trip to Korea. So, watch out for it.
Anyway, enough with that long intro. For now, I would like to share to you my facial experience with Skinstation.
Apparently, it's also been 3 years since I last had my facial. I think I got so traumatized with the pricking part that I don't wanna ever have facial again. But just today, I decided to go for it coz I've been having closed comedones on my left cheeks and no matter what products I use, it's just there #mayforever. I mean it doesn't grow, it doesn't minimize in size and upon further research, I have clogged pores due to makeup and too much sebum and extraction is the only way to remove them. Well I dont wanna do it myself. I'll leave it to the expert.
So yesterday, I booked an appointment at Skinstation Shopwise Cubao (the one nearest to my place). I've been eyeing out for anti-acne facial. When I went there, the receptionist is recommending me to add glycolic peel and acne light something. Sorry I forgot the exact treatment. But I just opted anti-acne facial and glycolic peel since I wasn't really planning to spend a lot this time.
I've been having my diode underarm laser at this branch so I'm already aware about the ambiance, the rooms - they're not new to me. I really like that one's privacy is valued at Skinstation since they provide individual rooms for their treatments.
Me before the facial, looks like I don't have troubled skin!
After that favorite part, she applied glycolic peel. This is supposed to lessen breakouts with it's micropeeling properties. They are so MAHAPDIIIIII as expected as the wounds are open. She left it for 5 min on my face. Then a facial mask was applied for 20 minutes. And the final step: moisturizer. And done. I almost dont wanna walk home - my face was so red coz I really have sensitive skin. It looks like it's been stung by a bee. Lol. The ate told me the redness will be gone in a few hours. Well, I hope so!
Anyare? Huhu
Am I going back? Hmm. Maybe, but not next month. Haha! I would't go to facials if I don't need to. It's always my last option as I think you can do facials at home, you just need the right tools and products. If it weren't for these comedones, I will skip facial.
If you're curious how much I paid, it was P1500 for the whole facial treatment. P900 for the facial alone and P600 for the glycolic peel. I think this was the most expensive facial I got since facials in our province would only range P300-500. Haha! But that is okay, may face really felt so clean afterwards.
You may also check their website for other types of facial they offer.
